Back in last month, we updated that the Mountain View company Google is working on a smart display and that will take on the Amazon Echo and Lenovo Smart Displays, and at that time it was expected that the company will launch the product by the end of this year. Well, today we got information which says that the company will launch it during the most awaiting ‘Made by Google’ event on October 9, and the device will be dubbed as Google Home Hub.
Thanks to the guys at the MySmartPrice, as they gathered the full renders and specification details of the upcoming Google smart display. Actually, it is a speaker with a massive 7 inch display and that must be for the interaction with the Google Assistant. So, without any delay let’s dive into the article and check out the complete details of the upcoming Google product.
Everything about Google Home Hub
According to the source, the upcoming Google Home Hub will give touchscreen interface and voice control, along with just like other Google Home products, it will give you great service as well as support. The device will also have a 7 inch touchscreen display and that will give information like a time, weather, and other related information like a daily commute and that is from the Google Map. Apart from the display, it will also have a full-fledged speaker and it also has a mute toggle. Having said that, the Google Home Hub will be in a square shape and it comes with Chalk White colour which is similar to the other Google smart speakers, and it is also confirmed that the device will be available in Charcoal variant as well.
Speaking about the feature list of the device, the company has improved it greatly when we compare with the present Google Home speakers. As the company improves the pairing ability along with the security features and it will also allow you to control other appliances of your home which is comfortable. That’s not all, it will also give access to Google Photos and that can be done with the user’s voice command. The product also has a feature that is called Live Albums, which will allow the user to create slideshows from the images which are in the Google Photos library. Moreover, it is also said that Google has joined its hand with 400 brands to offer compatibility with more than 5000 smart devices. Well, that’s pretty impressive.
Regarding the connectivity options, the upcoming Google Home Hub will support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection and that means you will get high-performance streaming, and it will also support Bluetooth (but the information about the version is not available at this moment). Furthermore, the display will have an ambient light and colour sensor and it weighs 480 grams.
The pricing information of the device is not revealed but we hope that we can able to hear about that as well in the coming days. And we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates at your fingertips.
