As the Mountain View company may soon give a head to head competition to TikTok application.
According to the source, the search engine giant Google is interested to purchase a Firework to step into a new social media setup and also to give a head to head competition with TikTok. If you are unaware of the Firework then it is the US-based short video sharing platform similar to the TikTok. The Firework allows to post 15-second short videos, and it also allows to create 30-second videos. That said, “Reveal”, its patent pending technology, will allow creators to share videos in both horizontal and vertical in one shot from their mobile device.
Having said that, the source also says that the Chinese microblogging website Weibo is also interested to purchase a Firework but the talks with Google is in the advanced stage.
