The developers of the Mountain View company Google, have implemented a new feature in the very popular Google Photos application, and the same will be very useful for those who edit photos. The new feature will preserve HDR even after editing the photos.
Speaking about the HDR photos, it can keep the full dynamic range and important HDR metadata even after using editing tools including Photo Unblur, Magic Eraser, and Portrait Light. So the new feature will keep the original contrast, brightness, and detail after editing.
A new “Ultra HDR” tool is also added on the board and the same will enable you to adjust the brightness of the photos more precisely. This will be helpful to get the exact look and the old “HDR” tool has been renamed to “Tone” which will better describe its role in adjusting light and contrast.
Google has also updated the capability of enhancing SDR photos to HDR and it will boost the brightness along with contrast and clarity. The new changes might take some time to take effect on the platform.
