Almost 2 weeks back Google launched two apps that divides Hangouts into two different apps, Hangouts Chat & Hangouts Meet. We already know that Google has Google Allo and Duo for messaging and video calling respectively. Now yesterday Google announced new features for both the apps. So what are the new features? Let’s find out.
1 . Google Allo:
In Google Allo, now we can share many kind of files in groups chats. We can transfer various formats like .pdf, .docx, .mp3, .zip and .apk . Google as added another feature of Smart Smiley but that’s exclusive to Brazil because the smileys are in Portuguese.
2. Google Duo:
In Google Duo, Google has implemented the feature of audio calls. Now if you don’t want to do a video call because of various reasons, you can easily do a audio call. It also consumes less data than video calling. As of now this feature is only available in Brazil, but we are expecting this feature to come to other regions as well.
