After rolling out the third Android P beta in early this month, today the search engine giant Google has released the final beta version of the upcoming Android P i.e. Android P beta 4. That said, it’s also known as Developer Preview 5. Moreover, the Beta 4 has arrived at the right time as per the Android P timeline.
Well, as the Android P Beta 4 is the final version before making the operating system official. It comes with all the fixes and almost stable, the company also added the final system behaviour and the APIs of the upcoming Android version, the API level 28.
Right now, the Android P Beta 4 is available for Google devices such as the first and second generation Pixels. That said, users who enrolled for the Android P Beta Program will receive the Beta 4 of the upcoming Android P on their device via OTA update. Having said that, if you can’t wait for the update, then you can manually flash by downloading the OTA Files or Factory Images.
Having said that, following non-Google devices will also receive the Android P Beta 4:

- OnePlus 6
- Nokia 7 Plus
- Mi Mix 2s
- OPPO R15 Pro
- Vivo X21 UD
- Vivo X21
- Sony Xperia XZ2
As Google has released the final beta version of Android P we can expect that the official version of the new operating system of Android. That said, if we look back then the company may announce the new Android P by August 22. Furthermore, recently a leak suggested that the upcoming OS will be named as Android Pistachio.
