Google’s Mid-range Pixel To Have Snapdragon 710 Processor

Every techie knows that Pixel smartphones are one of the best flagship smartphones if ignoring the quality control issues. They give some amazing camera performance and software experience. But usually, Google do price these smartphones on an expensive side, which is surely not affordable for everyone. Two months back we got a rumor which said that Google is planning for an upper mid-range Pixel smartphone. Now today we got a new report on the same.

According to popular leakster Roland Quandt, the upcoming mid-range Pixel smartphone will have the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor. For those who don’t know, Qualcomm recently launched this Snapdragon 710 processor which sits in between Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 845 processors. This is a perfect premium mid-range processor as of now. The recently unveiled Xiaomi Mi8 SE, which is a smaller version of Mi8 has the same processor. For those who want a Google device in budget, right now they are going for Android One devices or OnePlus devices. Now with this smartphone, Google is himself planning to enter the upper mid-range market. According to the report, this smartphone might launch in the first half of 2019 i.e. almost a year later.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. As this one is a very early leak, take this with a pinch of salt. I hope that Google will launch this smartphone as soon as possible without many compromises over the flagship Pixel 3 and comes with a decent price tag. What are your thoughts on this rumour?
