Back in March, the Mountain View company Google has announced Stadia cloud gaming service which is the future of gaming, and the announcement came at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2019 in San Francisco. It will stream games from the cloud to various platforms such as the Chrome browser, Chromecast, and Pixel devices.
However, when the company unveiled the service it does not reveal the complete information like the pricing, availability, and more. Now Google has announced the complete information of the service.
Everything about Google Stadia
The company will serve the service in two tiers, Stadia Base – which is a free service and Stadia Pro – and that’s premium subscription plan which will cost $9.99 per month. Having said that, the Base plan will only available in next year i.e. 2020, and you can’t purchase the Pro plan this year. For that, you need to buy the Stadia Founder’s Edition and that’s a $129 bundle.
If you are interested then it can be pre-order via Google Store and you also get a limited-edition Night Blue Stadia controller, a Chromecast Ultra, a three-month subscription to Stadia Pro, and access to Destiny 2: Furthermore, you will also get a Buddy Pass which will give a friend three months of Stadia Pro as well.
The company will sell the Stadia controller and that will be yours for $69, and the device will be available in Just Black, Clearly White, and Wasabi.
Difference between Base and Pro
The Base plan will only offer the 1080 resolution and stereo sound, while the Pro plan will treat you with the 4K HDR at 60fps with 5.1 surround sound. And the service requires 35Mbps for the maxed-out settings, but you can use Stadia even with a 5Mbps connection, and that will give a low resolution.
Will the package include games?
Google Stadia Base or Pro will not feature any game unless you purchase the bundle. For the games, you have to pay. Which means you have to pay for every single game which you want to play in the Google cloud game streaming service. But the Pro users will get the “additional free games released regularly” and “exclusive discounts on select game purchases”. That said, the company didn’t reveal the pricing of the game.
Number of games and names
The service will feature 31 titles from the beginning, and that will include, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Doom Eternal, Doom (2016), Rage 2, The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Destiny 2, Get Packed, Grid, Metro Exodus, Thumper, Farming Simulator 19, Baldur’s Gate III, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Football Manager, Samurai Shodown, Final Fantasy XV, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, NBA 2K, Borderlands 3, Gylt, Mortal Kombat 11, Darksiders Genesis, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Just Dance, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Trials Rising, and The Crew.
Availability of Google Stadia
Google will bring the service from the month of November across Belgium, Finland, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the USA.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a great job with this. In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!
