Back in June, the popular chipset makers Qualcomm unveiled Snapdragon 850 processor and that is meant for laptops. Well, now at the IFA 2018 event, the Chinese electronics giant Lenovo has launched the first laptop which powers with the Snapdragon 850 processor and the laptop is dubbed as Lenovo Yoga C630.
The Lenovo Yoga C630 Sports 13.3 inch full HD touchscreen display and it also offers an optional Lenovo Pen to scribble and use Windows Ink features. As I mentioned above, it is powered by the latest Snapdragon 850 processor and that’s why the laptop has 30% more power and it also has an upgraded CPU cores and Adreno 630 GPU. The company offers the laptop in different choices in different parts of the world, as it will be available in 4 GB and 8 GB of RAM along with the 128 GB and 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage options respectively.
Moreover, it will also have a SIM card slot and that is integrated with Snapdragon X20 LTE modem which will support Cat 18 download speeds of up to 1.2Gbps and upload speeds of up to 150Mbps. And the laptop will boot on Windows 10 S, it also has dedicated blocks for image signal processing, audio, sensors, security, and artificial intelligence.
This device also comes with a fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security along with two USB type C ports and it will also support a headphone jack. Finally, the company says that the laptop will offer 25 hours of battery life and it also capable to wake instantly from standby mode.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, it has the price tag of €999 (approx. ₹80,000) and it will be available from November in Europe and some other countries. There is no information about the availability of the laptop in the Indian market.
