How to use WhatsApp Pay?

To use the newly announced WhatsApp Pay, a WhatsApp user needs to initiate a payment to a contact. Once the request is received, you can set up the UPI account then send and receive money on WhatsApp itself.

The company has made the feature in the simplest manner and you can able to send and receive money as simple as you send a message or photo and video on the platform. You can send money by tapping on the share file icon in the chat bar and selecting ‘payment’.

Having said that, the company also offers a dedicated area for the payment and that will be available under the shortcut menu and this will allow you to check the transactions, history, and account details.

The company has joined its hand with five banking partners to roll out the whatsapp Pay service in the country and the partners are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, the State Bank of India, and Jio Payments Bank.
