Huawei Mate X Confirmed To Debut In India Later This Year

At the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (2019), the Chinese smartphone brand Huawei unveiled its first foldable smartphone and second after the Samsung Fold. The Huawei’s foldable smartphone is dubbed as Huawei Mate X, and the device is powered by 5G along with that the smartphone is coming decent look as well as design. Having said that, soon after the official unveiling of the device we came across a report which said that the arrival of the Mate X to the Indian market will depend on the availability of the 5G network.

However, now the Chinese brand confirmed to launch the smartphone in India later this year. The Indian division of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Wally Yang confirmed the all new Huawei Mate X will launch in this year in the market of India but didn’t revealed the exact timeline for the launch. Apart from this confirmation, Yang didn’t mention any other information regarding the smartphone.

Specifications of Huawei Mate X

The Mate X is coming with a 6.6-inch FullView OLED screen. This is the first ever fold-able smartphone from Huawei. The foldable mechanism works in a way similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold – foldable Smartphone/Tablet whatever name you give it. The Huawei Mate X on full operation gives an 8-inch OLED screen opted for a tablet experience.

The Huawei Mate X doesn’t have a notch on the display and it apparently gives no bezels. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button. The Huawei Mate X comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of Internal storage as of now the information gathered.

The specially designed software allows the user to access two apps side by side and help to move files from one app to another. Huawei Mate X supports 5G connectivity and has a hybrid sim slot. The Smartphone will have a 4,500m Ah battery with 55W fast charging support. Apart from these tips, The foldable display will have many interesting functions on arrival!
