After launching HarmonyOS in last year, today the Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei has launched the second generation of the same and that is dubbed as HarmonyOS 2.0, the new version is coming with the many improvements and new implementation. The company launched HarmonyOS due to the crisis between the Tech companies due to the ban of the Chinese company in the United States and the Government of the United States restricts the companies to collaborate with Huawei.
Speaking about the HarmonyOS, it is coming with an advance set up than the other major operating systems as the Huawei developed operating system is supported with cross platform, that means it can able to run on multiple devices. The HarmonyOS 2.0 is coming with the many improvements than the last year’s version and the same will run on almost any device – smart TV, smartwatches, car head units, and of course smartphones, and more.
Huawei has also revealed its OpenHarmony project which is an open-source and that is meant to give a head-to-head competition to AOSP (Android Open Source Project). It will be open for developers soon and will support devices with as low as 128KB.
The operating system is also coming with seamless continuity and adaptive UX elements and the company is also touting improved security, smart voice recognition and fast cross-device data transfers.
Having said that, the company is also confirmed that the first smartphone with the operating system will be official next year but there is no specific timeline.
