Huawei has done a huge number of announcements at the event yesterday, we already came across its latest and greatest flagship smartphones along with other wearables such as smartwatches, wireless earphones, and the earbuds and smart glass. Well, the company has also announced a new power bank which supports 40W SuperCharge technology.
The power bank features two USB ports – USB Type-A which will offer the maximum 40W output, but don’t forget that only devices which are compatible with the SuperCharge standard can utilize this benefit. The second port is USB Type-C and that will give the Power Delivery charging, and that will allow quick-charge to other non-Huawei devices. It also sports the usual power button and LED light indicators, and ships on 12,000 mAh.
The company claims that the newly unveiled power bank can charge up to 70% of the Huawei P30 Pro battery in just 30 minutes with the 40W SuperCharge. The 12,000 mAh powerbank itself can be topped up in 2h 14 minutes at the 40W rate; otherwise, you would have to wait more than five hours with a regular 10W charging.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, the Powerbank is priced at €99 and details about the availability is yet to be confirmed.
