Last month Chinese smartphone brand Vivo officially unveiled their latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo NEX S. This is a mirror towards the future of the smartphone industry. This device proved that Vivo is not only about the selfie-centric brand, it can also be an innovative brand. In later June, the company announced the launch of this smartphone in one of the biggest smartphone market, India. There are still a few days left for the launch, and there is a very important leak on the same.
Folks at MySmartPrice cracked out the website of Amazon India Vivo NEX page and got the hidden information of the phone, which includes the pricing as well. And the Indian pricing of upcoming Vivo NEX is Rs.48,990. This is almost Rs.11,000 less as compared to Vivo’s sibling company’s flagship, Oppo Find X. Apart from pricing, there is some other information as well, like the smartphone is named as Vivo NEX, not the NEX S. Also the variant which will be available in India will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of intern storage. Will be interesting to see whether the 256GB storage variant will be available or not.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, this looks more value for money as compared to Oppo Find X, because at higher price Oppo is skimping on in-display as well as rear mounted fingerprint sensor and makes the user depended on face unlock only. Whereas in Vivo NEX the in-display fingerprint sensor will be present. But if we compare the same with OnePlus 6, the Vivo flagship is still a bit overpriced. If someone wants to try something innovative, then this is a perfect choice.
