After the huge success of a live video feature, the social networking giant introduced a new feature called Live Audio.

With the new feature user can broadcast voice messages from their account, it will really handy to those who wants live stream of any event without any video. So, if you want to tell a story or want to announce anything new, the new Live Audio is perfect.

The new feature will alert you if there is low signal, and it will also present another option to connect with audience in real time from the low signal areas. Just like the Live Video, listeners will able to listen the audio content from the News Feed. Listeners can also ask questions and give reaction in real time.
On Android, users can leave the Facebook app or lock the device while listening to broadcast. But the iOS have to stay within the Facebook app to listen the audio. Facebook will be test the new feature with BBC World Service, LBC and Harper Collins. The wide roll out will be happen in early 2017 for the publishers and people.
