After being on the headlines for the past couple of weeks, today the popular Chinese smartphone brand iQOO has officially introduced the latest and greatest iQOO 10 series in the market of China and the smartphone series including iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro. The smartphone series is coming with the power of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor and the same is running on Android 12 out of the box. Moreover, the latest iQOO 10 Pro is featuring 200W fast charging technology as well. Specifications of iQOO 10 series
The iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro smartphones are featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED display setup along with a punch hole setup at the centre position of the screen. Both devices are supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla variant of the smartphone series features an FHD+ resolution whereas the Pro model features a QHD panel with curved edges.
Speaking about the camera department, the iQOO 10 series features triple rear cameras on the back panel. The vanilla variant features a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor along with a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 12MP telephoto unit. On the other hand, the Pro model features the same primary camera but it is coming with a 50MP ultra-wide snapper and a 14.6MP telephoto unit. On the front, the iQOO 10 series features a 16MP front facing camera. The smartphone series is also featuring Vivo’s V1+ chip which will offer enhanced imaging capabilities.
Both devices are coming with an in-screen fingerprint scanner along with face unlock to provide an extra layer of protection. It is worth mentioning that the latest iQOO 10 series features a dual-tone back panel with the kevlar-like pattern.
Talking about the chipset and memory, the latest iQOO 10 series is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor along with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The vanilla variant of the smartphone series is housing a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W charging whereas the Pro variant is backed by a 4,550mAh cell with a 200W fast wired charging solution and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone series is running on Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone series supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
Pricing and availability
The iQOO 10 starts at Yuan 3,699 for the 8GB + 128GB variant while the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models are priced at Yuan 3,999 and Yuan 4,299 respectively and the 12GB + 512GB storage option is having a price tag of 4699 Yuan. On the other hand, the iQOO 10 Pro is having a price tag of 4,999 Yuan for the 8GB + 256GB while the 12GB + 256GB is priced at 5499 Yuan, and 12GB + 512GB is having a price tag of 5999 Yuan.
The smartphone series will be available for purchase in China from July 26. There is no information about the availability of the smartphone series in other parts of the world.
