LG V35 ThinQ Unveiled With Snapdragon 845 & More

Seems like LG is in a hurry of launching its flagship smartphones. Back in February, they unveiled LG V30S ThinQ which was a minor upgrade over 2017’ LG V30. Earlier this month they unveiled LG G7 ThinQ with notched display and Snapdragon 845 processor.

Now today they unveiled the LG V35 ThinQ smartphone. LG unveiled this device without any teaser or press reminder. So let’s see what this LG V35 ThinQ packs within.

The LG V35 ThinQ is made up with military standard 810G material that’s a rough glass back which can survive from casual scratches and drops. It sports a 6 inch Quad HD+ (2880×1440) P-OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has support for HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 octa core processor clocked at 2.7Ghz along with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. A V35 Plus ThinQ will come with 128GB of internal storage and all other specifications will be same, including the MicroSd Card support. It has a Dual Rear Camera Setup of 16MP (f/1.6 lens, 3-axis OIS, 1 micron size pixel, PDAF) + 16MP (f/1.9 lens) along with laser autofocus. The front camera is bumped up to 8MP with f/1.9 lens.

This phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with LG’s custom UI on top. It has 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging option. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back, below the camera setup. For connectivity, it has 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, and Type-C port. Just like other LG flagships, this one also had dedicated audio DAC for clear and crisp output via the headphone jack, and HiFi audio recording option as well. This phone is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. It will come in two colour options; New Aurora Black, and New Platinum Grey. The phone is 7.3mm thin and weights at 157 grams.

Pricing & Availability:

  • It is priced at $900 (₹60,718) for V35 ThinQ. No information about V35 Plus ThinQ.
  • At first, it will be available on 8th June my AT&T, and globally by July 2018.
  • No information about other countries.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, LG should have taken some time to manufacture this phone, because apart from Snapdragon 845 and some minor improvements here & there, all specifications are similar to LG G7 ThinQ and LG V35 ThinQ.
