Back in last month, the South Korean electronics brand LG launched its flagship smartphone called LG V35 ThinQ. Apart from this, the company also launched two more devices in the flagship portfolio this year- LG V30S ThinQ, and LG G7 ThinQ. Well, now it seems that the company is not going to stop unveiling flagship devices. As a new report suggests that the company may launch yet another flagship smartphone called LG V40.
According to the report, the South Korean brand LG is working on its next flagship device i.e. LG V40. And the report says that the smartphone will have five cameras. Well, that’s damn cool, five cameras. Speaking about the camera placement, two of them will be on the front, and the other three will be placed on the rear. Talking about the rear cameras, one will have a standard wide-angle lens, the other one will have the ultra-wide lens and the last one will have a telephoto lens or could be used for bokeh effects. Well, if this information turns true, then the LG V40 will be the first smartphone to come with a total of five cameras. Having said that, Huawei P20 is the first smartphone to have the triple rear camera.
Moreover, the upcoming V40, will allow you to unlock the device using your face. And this setup could probably allow creating a 3D map of the face. Apart from this report also says that the device will come with a notched display and it will allow you to hide the notch, which is really a great news for the haters of the notch.
Furthermore, the upcoming V40 will be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 processor. The device will have the Quad-DAC, along with a fingerprint scanner at the back, and the device also feature a dedicated button for Google Assistant, just like the LG V35 ThinQ. Speaking about the availability of the device, there is no information about the launching of this device.
