Live Image Of Redmi 8a Leaked With Waterdrop Notch Display

Redmi 7 series is a big hit of 2019 till now. Even all of their predecessors were very successful at there times. We are right now in third quarter of the year, but seems lith rapid changes in smartphone technology will bring Redmi 8 series a bit earlier. Recently Redmi 8 was spotted on TENAA certification website, and now we got a leaked image of a smartphone under same series.

A live image of Redmi 8a is leaked which shows both front and back portion of the smartphone along with some of it’s features mentioned in the about section. Talking about the design, it has a water drop notch display which carries the front facing camera. The display looks not so big, actually the size should be similar to Redmi 7a. The bottom bezel is thick and Redmi brand is embedded there. Moving to the back, it has glossy polycarbonate plastic materia which looks like glass. There’s horizontally placed dual camera setup with fingerprint sensor below. There’s another Redmi branding a the centre as well.

Moving to the specifications, it will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa core processor clocked at 2.0Ghz, same as Redmi 7a. It will have a variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, lesser storage is expected. It runs on Android Pie with MIUI Global 9.7.11 on top. The security patch is of June 2019. Though the battery capacity is not mentioned, but the source claims that it will have 5000mAh of battery. Also this might be the prototype, so expect some changes in specs and design.

Well, that’s all the information we have as of now. Everything looks great with Redmi 8a, but the same processor as it’s predecessor disappoints a bit.
