Meizu has officially introduced its new flagship smartphone called Meizu 21 in the market of China. The device comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with a 200 megapixel primary sensor on the back panel. The device also runs on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The newly introduced Meizu 21 smartphone features a flat frame body and the same measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 198g. The device also features an RGB LED ring light around one of the cameras for notifications and other use cases.
It features a 6.55-inch display with an OLED screen provided by Samsung Display along with a punch-hole setup at the centre position of the screen. The Meizu 21 also features FHD+ resolution along with HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 1920Hz PWM dimming and an 1800 nits peak brightness level.
The Meizu 21 is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. It also features a cooling area of 37345mm² to dissipate heat as well.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Meizu 21 smartphone features a 32MP Samsung S5KJD1 selfie camera. Whereas, the device comes with a 200MP Samsung Samsung S5KHP3 primary sensor on the back with OIS, a 12MP Samsung S5K3L6 ultrawide unit, and a 5MP Samsung S5K5E9 depth sensor.
The device runs on Android 14 with Flyme 10.5 operating system out of the box. It also features Aicy personal assistant powered by GPT and the device also comes with an IP54 rating. The device features dual stereo speakers and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Regarding the connectivity options, the latest Meizu 21 features dual SIM, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS, and NFC
The newly announced flagship smartphone of the company houses a 4,800mAh battery and the device supports 80W wired charging as well.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Meizu 21 smartphone with 8GB + 256GB variant has a price tag of ¥3,399 while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at ¥3,699 and the 12GB + 512GB variant has a price tag of ¥3,999. The device will be available in the market of China from December 5.
