As the year 2019 is ending every OEM is now launching the remaining smartphones before December. Yesterday Xiaomi unveiled the Mi CC9 Pro smartphone in China. Some of its specialty is the Penta camera setup with a 108MP primary lens and a huge battery. We already knew that the global variant of this device will launch with a different name, and today it did. The Mi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro is now official, the global variant of Mi CC9 Pro and it’s a special edition. The specs are exactly the same, but let’s have a look at them again named with Mi Note 10.
Design & Display:
Starting off with the design, it’s a glass built from front and back, along with aluminium frame around to hold the glass together. There are curved edges around and a water drop notch above the display. Speaking about the display, the Mi Note 10 sports a 6.47 inch Super AMOLED display qith Full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution and 398 pixel density (ppi). It’s a HDR10 display along with DCI-P3 colours and 600 nits of brightness. The screen to body ratio is 87.8%, which is good but we are expecting 90% ratio. Also, there’s no mention of any sort of protection in both front as well as back glass.
Now let’s talk about the highlight of Mi Note 10 i.e. it’s five camera setup. The primary one is the 108MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor with f1.7 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size, PDAF, and OIS. Then the secondary camera is a 5MP Telephoto lens with 5X digital zoom which goes all the way till 50X via digital zoom. This one has f2.0 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size, PDAF, and OIS. Interestingly, the third camera is also a Telephoto lens. This is a 12MP lens with 2X optical zoom, f2.0 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size, dual pixel PDAF, and OIS. It functions as a depth sensor for portrait shots.
Then the fourth camera is a 20MP Wide Angle lens with f2.2 aperture, 117° field of view, and 1.0μ pixel size. Lastly the fifth one is a 2MP Macro lens with f2.4 aperture and large 1.75μm pixel size. Laser Autofocus is also present here. And there’s a 8P lens in the primary camera of Mi Note 10 Pro. There are two dual LED flashlights i.e. total four flashlights. It can record videos up to 4K at 30fps and 720p slow motion at 960fps. Sadly there’s no 4K at 60fps option. On the front it has 32MP camera with f2.0 aperture and 0.8μ pixel size. It can do video recording up to 1080p at 30fps.
