We have almost all the information about the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Now today we got three different leaks regarding battery, UI and colour options. All three leaks are from three different sources. So let’s have a look at the leaks.
1. Battery:
As you all know that the Galaxy S8+ will have a 3500mah battery. Now it’s confirmed because a leaked photograph of Galaxy S8+’s battery clearly mentions that this phone will have 3500mah battery. The battery is Made in Korea. It will be a lithium ion battery of course. The manufacturing date written on it is 21st February 2017. The battery seems slim, nothing much special. & It will be a non removable battery so don’t expect that it’s going to be removable.
2. UI & Icons:
Now according to the source, screenshots of the home screen of Galaxy S8 or S8+ is spotted on .apk file of Samsung Smart Switch app. By looking at the screenshots, it seems like Samsung is going for a very simple UI this time. The icons are changed from previous Samsung phones and design looks more of a sketch. We have seen this in many previous leaks. The wallpaper also seems to be very simple. But maybe as it’s a pre production unit, the actual wallpaper may be different.
3. Colour Options:
According to previous leaks the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available in three different colours that’re Black, Silver and Gold. Now this new image got leaked with side frames of Galaxy S8 or S8+ in 6 different colours. Those colours are black, white, blue, silver, gold and grey. The sides are very thin and the display clearly seems to be curved. The placement gap also seems to be same as seen in the previous leaks. Some colour variants will be made available to a particular set if countries while the common colours like black, white and gold will be available in almost all possible regions.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Although we have pretty much of the information but we have to wait for the official confirmation on 29th March. Also the pricing and availability are still unknown. So stay tuned with us for more information.
