Back in last week, we came across the complete specification details of the upcoming Moto G8 Plus, now the device appears on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench. So let’s check out what’s the listing revealed.
According to the listing, the upcoming Moto G8 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and it will be paired with 4GB of RAM. The listing also confirms that the device will run on Android 9 and the information is in line with the previous leak.
Furthermore, the upcoming smartphone has scored 314 points and 1,264 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively. Having said that, the upcoming Moto smartphone is expected to come with dual rear speakers and it will also have glossy finishes, the smartphone will have volume rockers and power buttons on the right side, just like the previous Moto G series smartphones. The source also says that the device will feature is 6.3 inch full HD display with 2280 X 1080 pixels resolution and it will sport a waterdrop-like notch.
Talking about the camera, the upcoming G8 Plus tipped to rock triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, followed by a 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor with 117-degree field of view, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a fourth cut-out and that may be for the laser autofocus system which will allow focussing the subject quickly. Upfront, the device will have a 25-megapixel sensor.
The smartphone also supports the fingerprint scanner and that’s embedded in the logo at the rear side. Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Bluetooth v5, LTE, dual-SIM support, wireless LAN, LTE Cat 13, dual band Wi-FI, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more. It is said to pack 4,000 mAh battery and the smartphone will run on Android 9.
