Right now in mid-range smartphones, the only phones of which we are getting so much leaks & rumours are Moto G5 and G5 Plus. We have gone through many leaked specs as well as leaked images. So now we have another leak of both the devices. Now we have the poster image of Moto G5 and G5 Plus with specs of both. These images are unconsciously posted by an Spanish retailer on there website. So let’s have a look at images as well as specs.
First have a look at the images & specs of Moto G5. As you can see the from the image below the design of Moto G5 is very much the same as earlier leaks. This Moto G5 will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz . It will have 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with expandable storage upto 128GB. It sports a 5” Full HD 1080p display with Gorilla glass 3 and 441 PPI. Regarding camera it will have 13MP rear camera with PDAF and a 5MP front facing camera with wide angle lens. It will also have fingerprint sensor. The battery capacity is 2800mah battery with 5V 2A rapid charge support, this time the battery will be removable. Also this phone will be splash proof so it will be interesting to see a combination of removable battery & splash proof build. The phone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Now coming to the higher end variant of Moto G5, that’s Moto G5 Plus. As you can see from the image below the built of Moto G5 Plus is also exactly the same as what we have seen in earlier leaks. This Moto G5 Plus will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa core processor clocked at 2.0Ghz based on 14nm FinFET technology that helps in power efficiency. It’s the same processor used in last year’s Moto Z Play. Moto G5 Plus sports a 5.2” Full HD 1080p display with Gorilla glass 3 and 424 PPI. It will have 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with expandable storage upto 128GB. But according to previous leaks this Moto G5 Plus has 4GB RAM so expect 2 variants here, 2GB RAM and 4GB RAM. Regarding camera it has 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera (1st in this range) and 5MP front facing camera with wide angle lens. It will also have fingerprint sensor same as Moto G5. The battery capacity is 3000mah with Rapid charge support. This phone is also splash proof and comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Also this is the first Moto G device to come with NFC support. That will be beneficial for online transactions.
