The popular mobile phone chipset maker Qualcomm has unveiled its new mobile chipset and that is dubbed Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor which comes with 5G connectivity and it is an overclocked version of its predecessor Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. Everything about Snapdragon 768G
It is based on the octa-core SoC along with two Kryo 475 (ARM Cortex-A76) CPU cores and the same is clocked up to 2.8GHz for Prime core, and the second Kryo 475 core is clocked at 2.4GHz. The chipset is also coming with Adreno 620 GPU and that is claimed to offer up to 15% better performance than the predecessor and it is also the first 7 series which comes with the updatable GPU driver.
Moreover, the newly unveiled Snapdragon 768G also comes with Snapdragon Elite Gaming features and that will offer smoother gameplay along with enhanced detail. The chipset also features the Hexagon 696 digital signal processor (DSP) just like the Snapdragon 765G.
The processor also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and it also comes with superior gaming performance along with intelligent multi-camera abilities, the same also supports 5G connectivity, as it has Snapdragon X52 5G Modem-RF System along with better battery life. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11ax which is dubbed as Wi-Fi 6, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive Audio, Bluetooth v5.2, and USB Type-C v3.1.
Coming to the photography department, the new Snapdragon 768G processor comes with a Spectra 355 image signal processor with up to 192-megapixel camera support.
