Everything about the Snapdragon X2 Elite and Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme
The latest Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is designed for ultra-premium PCs and the processor will enable users to easily manage tasks related to agentic AI experience, intense computational data, professional media editing, as well as scientific research. The processor features 3rd generation Qualcomm Oryon CPUs to offer an upgraded performance of up to 75% at ISO power, and the chipset is also integrated with a new Adreno GPU architecture and the same will be offering 2.3x performance increase (per watt) and better power efficiency. It is also capable to provide the 80 TOPS Qualcomm Hexagon NPU and the same is integrated with the world’s fastest NPU for laptops.
On the other hand, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite is said to offer 31% boosted performance at ISO power. The power efficiency is also reduced by 43% compared to the previous generation. It will be supporting Copilot+ and other AI features with the power of the 80 TOPS NPU.
Regarding the availability, the Snapdragon X2 Elite-powered Windows 11 PCs are expected to be available in the first half of next year.
