After unveiling the latest and greatest Snapdragon flagship mobile processor, Qualcomm has introduced yet another chipset called Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 and the same is meant for next-generation computers. The newly introduced chipset is coming with many improvements when we compare to the previous generation, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 is capable to offer fast downloading along with the up to 24 megapixel camera. Everything about Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3
The newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 is built using the 5nm process, and that is first for Windows devices. It is claimed that the new chipset is capable to provide an 85 percent improvement in CPU performance and 60 percent faster GPU performance.
8cx Gen 3 features Snapdragon X55, X62, and the X65 5G modems. That is claimed to offer faster downloading capability. The chipset is also coming with the Spectra ISP, and the same will offer better autofocus along with auto-white balance, and auto-exposure which means your video calling experience will be awesome. It also features a single camera up to 24MP, along with up to 4 concurrent cameras, and the newly announced chipset can able to provide 4K HDR video capture at 30fps, along with slow motion 720p video at 480fps.
Talking about the memory setup of the chipset, it is coming with UFS 3.1 storage and the same also features Qualcomm Voice Suite, which has Qualcomm Noise and Echo Cancellation technology.
Qualcomm 8cx Gen 3 also supports “multi-day battery life” but the company did not reveal much about the same. It is expected to be available in the market in the first half of next year.
