Back in June, the India head of Realme – Madhav Sheth revealed that the company will launch the 5G smartphone and it will be launched before the end of this year. Well, now the company has announced that its upcoming 5G smartphone will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7xx series processor at its heart.
The announcement came soon after the Qualcomm’s plan about the new processors with a built-in modem for the next generation communication technology at the recently concluded IFA 2019 event.
Having said that, the upcoming Realme 5G Phone will feature the next-gen Qualcomm AI Engine and Qualcomm Elite Gaming features.
Realme hasn’t revealed the exact launch date of the 5G enabled smartphone. But Qualcomm confirmed that the Snapdragon 7xx series will be available by the fourth quarter of this year, which means we can expect the Realme 5G smartphone before the end of this year and the brand will be the first to launch a 5G smartphone in the market even before the commercial roll-out of the next generation telecommunication set up.
