Along with the new Redmi Note 9 Series, the brand has announced its first-ever smartwatch known simply as Redmi Watch. As a smartwatch, it carries all the important health and fitness features. Since its a Redmi product, it goes without saying that the pricing is aggressive as well.
Specifications of Redmi Watch
The Redmi Watch comes with a 1.4-inch colour display with 320 x 320-pixel resolution and 2.5D glass. It comes with more than 120 watch faces which can be customised via the Mi Fit app. It features health-related options such as heart-rate monitoring and sleep tracking along with a plethora of sports modes. Coming to the connectivity options, it includes Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, and NFC. The watch is waterproof for up to 50m depths and weighs 35 grams.
Speaking about the battery life, it can last up to 7 days with normal use and up to 12 days with power-saving mode tuned on. When it runs out of juice, you can charge it via the proprietary magnetic puck which charges the watch to a 100% in 2 hours.
Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Watch is priced at CNY 269 ($40) as part of an introductory offer. After that time period, it will retail for 299 ($45). It will go on sale from December 1 in China across leading retailers. At the moment the international availability of the first Redmi smartwatch is unknown but we hope to hear about it soon.

The watch will be available in Black, White and Navy Blue colours. In addition, the straps will be available in colours such as Pink and Green.
