The notch and bezel-less are something-like common these days, as almost every smartphone brands coming with this kind of technology. Well, now it’s time to bring the smartphone’s display to a different level and with the two electronics giants of South Korea is all set to introduce a new level of technology in the display department of their upcoming smartphone.
Well, a source says that Samsung and LG will implement sound-emitting display in their upcoming Galaxy S10 and LG G8 respectively. This is similar to the recently launched Vivo Nex, and with this kind of display smartphone brands can able to offer a little more space for the display and also the device will sport the real full-screen display.
The source says that both Samsung and LG will commercialize the full-screen OLED display technology on their upcoming devices by early next year. Having said that, the new technology can eliminate transmitters to deliver a full-screen experience – without requiring of adding a notch to accommodate an earpiece or other kinds of sensors.
Moreover, in late last month, Samsung showcased a full-screen OLED prototype at the Display Week event and the company called it “Sound on Display”. And the prototype featured 6.2 inch and it does not need an earpiece and it produces sound by vibrating the panel. Having said that, LG also showcased their 8K OLED display at the CES 2018 with a Crystal Sound Integration and this technology helps produces sound directly from the panel.
So, it is clear that 2019 will also showcase for the innovations in the display department.
