The company has updated its app to stick with the existing user and also to gain some fresh user. You can choose an avatar with over 40 skin tones and 50 hair options. Snapchat claims that it has a total of 100,000 combination possibilities.
The reason behind this, the acquisition of Bitstrips who is behind the Bitmoji brings. Snapchat has been facing heavy competition with other social applications like Facebook and Instagram. The financial output of the company doesn’t meet expected value in Q3 2017.
