The popular chipset makeup Qualcomm is believed to launch a new Snapdragon chipset and the same is expected to be dubbed the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1. Xiaomi’s boss teased the chipset as well earlier today. Now Digital Chat Station has revealed more information about the upcoming mobile processor and it is also suggested that the same could arrive as an underclocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
It is reported that the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 will feature lower clock speeds and the mobile processor will have an Adreno 725 GPU running at 580 MHz. The upcoming Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 is also expected to outperform MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 and the upcoming Snapdragon chipset will be manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication node.
The source is also saying that popular smartphone brands have collaborated with the chipset maker for the new devices with the power of the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 chipset, and it is also expected that the first smartphone with the power of the new chipset will be official before the end of this month.
