2016 was a very controversial year for Samsung, as they got a huge success because of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, and later got a huge failure because of Galaxy Note 7’s battery exploding issue. But Samsung researched hard and got the reason behind the issues of battery that happened in both batches. They even explained up the reasons for the blasts of Note 7 in detail in a press conference. But now it’s 2017 and here Samsung is all set to take back his image with Galaxy S8. But this time they have to make sure that the batteries used are safe. For the safety measure Samsung is going to spend $129 Million to ensure that the batteries used in there smartphones are safe. For this they have now contacted Sony. Yes, reports are there that Sony will provide the batteries for Galaxy S8 & S8+. So let’s read in detail about it.
There were reports that Samsung will take batteries from two companies who provides batteries to Samsung even before the Note 7 incident. Rumours were there that now a third company will also provide the batteries to Samsung and that will be a Japanese company. Now it’s almost sure that it’s Sony who will provide the battery. Reports are there that Sony has already started shipping batteries to Samsung’s manufacturing plant in Vietnam.
So that’s all the information we have right now. We hope that the safety measures taken by Samsung will turn out in a positive way and there will be no issues with Samsung like this in future.
