Two days before, we updated a news which depresses the users as the Facebook Messenger will show auto live advertisements in the Messenger. Well, today we got a new information which is really a welcome move from the social networking giant as the company is also to bring a new feature which will automatically translate messages.
According to the source, the company is bringing the translation feature as the part of the M Suggestion which is already built in the Facebook Messenger. However, at the initial stage, the feature will only translate in English and Spanish.
How the feature works
If a user who set the default language as English receives a message in Spanish, then the message will automatically get a popup asking to see the message translated. If the user selects yes, then all future messages will be translated automatically. And the feature will also work in the vice-versa. Having said that, users will receive both the translated and the original message, to avoid confusion.
Speaking about the availability, it is currently available in the US and Mexico. And we hope that the company will expand the feature to more countries.
