An upcoming wearable of the South Korean electronics giant Samsung is in the headlines from a long time, and today the device surfaced again. This time it’s not coming from any third party but it is officially from the company, as the support page of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Active goes live and this suggests an immediate launch.
On the Korean and UK website of the Samsung, a new support page appeared and mentions model number SM-R500X, which is connected to the upcoming smartwatch i.e. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. Apart from the model number, nothing else is mentioned on the support page, however, we already know about the wearable through various leaks.
The upcoming Samsung smartwatch is expected to come with 1.1-inch circular Super AMOLED display with 360 × 360 pixels resolution. It is expected to power up by Exynos 9110 dual-core chipset, and will have 768 MB of RAM, along with 4GB of storage. It is also expected to support NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, and runs on Tizen 4.0.0.3, and backed on a 236 mAh battery.
So, that’s all the information we have at this moment of time. But we believe to hear more about the same in the coming days and we expect that the company will launch this wearable at the upcoming MWC 2019 event.
