TCL, a very popular name in the electronics industry and the same was making and selling devices for the Canadian brand BlackBerry and this partnership is started from the past couple of years. Well, today a new piece of information is coming and it suggests that both the companies closing their partnership deal.
Well, TCL Communication has announced that the company will not make and sell BlackBerry-branded smartphones and the same will be effective from 31st August 2020. But the company has confirmed that it will support all the existing devices until 31st August 2022.

Speaking about the partnership, it was started in 2016 and the company launched the first set of phones under the partnership was the BlackBerry DTEK50, DTEK60, and BlackBerry Keyone. The devices were designed and built by TCL and secure software by BlackBerry.
Having said that, TCL already marketing devices under its own brand and the company is expected to launch many new devices in the coming months and it is also so that the upcoming MWC 2020 event will be the place where the company will host a bunch of new devices in various categories.
