1. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8 Plus (2018) Unveiled :
It’s still 2017 and Samsung has started unveiling their 2018 line-up. This week Samsung officially unveiled Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8 Plus (2018). Both devices comes with infinity display i.e. less bezels with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, but these are not edge to edge curved displays like Samsung’s 2017 flagship phones. Both phones are Samsung’s 1st smartphones to get Dual Front Camera Setup which captures portrait photos. Both phones are protected by IP68 certification. 2. Xiaomi Might Already Launched Redmi Note 5, With Different Name :
Many people are waiting for the successor of Redmi Note 4 i.e. Redmi Note 5, especially in China because by the end of an year, Xiaomi mostly launch their Redmi Note smartphone in China. But seems like this year Xiaomi has already launched Redmi Note 5 but no-one knows that. A new report claims that recently launched Redmi 5 Plus is actually the Redmi Note 5, as this Redmi 5 Plus will be biggest Redmi series device in 2018. But as the leakster is also not sure about this news and Redmi 5 Plus still uses Snapdragon 625 processor, this news don’t seems legit. 3. Tenor/10. or D Smartphone Launched in India :
To directly compete with Xiaomi Redmi 5A, 10. or/Tenor has bought their 10. or D smartphone in the Indian market. It retains similar specs as Redmi 5A, like Snapdragon 425 processor, 5.2” HD display, and more. The battery is a bit larger on this Tenor G. Pricing for 2GB RAM variant is same as Redmi 5A while the 3GB RAM variant is priced more aggressively as compared to Redmi 5A’s 3GB RAM variant. Seems like now this company is standing a bit in Indian smartphone industry. 4. OnePlus 6 Might Have On-screen Fingerprint Sensor & Might Launch Early :
It’s been a month since OnePlus launch their latest flagship phone i.e. OnePlus 5T. And this week we got 1st rumour of OnePlus’s 2018 flagship i.e. OnePlus 6. First rumour is about the fingerprint sensor, the OnePlus 6 is said to come with On-screen Fingerprint Sensor, instead of separate fingerprint sensor like rest of OnePlus phones. Another rumour is about the launch, it’s expected that OnePlus might launch the OnePlus 6 in the month of March. 5. LeEco Got Huge Investment To Recover It’s Financial Position :
This year is not so lucky for LeEco, as they faced huge financial issues and they had to shut down their market in countries like India. But seems like the year end has bought good news for LeEco, as a Chinese real estate company is ready to make investment in LeEco. They are investing in this company to expand their reach to various other markets like smartphones, TV’s, movies production, and Driverless Cars.
