Generally there’s not many news on weekend especially on Sunday, so we decided to start a new series, that’s ‘Weekly Round-up’. It means that we will show 5 most trending & important news of the week and also 2 mentioned news that are important but can’t make there way to the 5 most trending news. As you know that MWC event was there last week, so most trending news will be from there. So without taking much time, let’s have a look at our 1st ‘Weekly Round-up’.
1. Nokia Launched 3, 5, & 3310 and 6 Globally:
Nokia made a global comeback with there three smartphones named as Nokia 3, 5, 6 and one feature phone that’s Nokia 3310. The specs of Nokia 6 are decent for the price, Nokia 5 seems to be average and Nokia 3 is not that great. Actually we people had a lot of expectations from Nokia or HMD Global. We also expected Nokia 8 to be unveiled, the flagship of Nokia. Nokia 3310 is also not that great by looking at this smartphone era, as it lacks many things. 2. LG G6 was launched at MWC:
LG G6 was also one of the limelight phone of this week. Tech savvy people were expecting LG G6 to be the only competitor of Galaxy S8 in Q1 2017. But seems like LG don’t have anything that special to compete with Galaxy S8. LG G6 has thin bezels that makes the phone compact when compared to other phones with 5.7” display. But Samsung will also go for near bezel less design in Galaxy S8 and S8+. For detailed coverage on LG G6 launch in MWC, click here.
3. Moto G5 and G5 Plus Launched at MWC:
We are expecting LG G6 and especially Nokia to be the eye catching phones of MWC. We are not having much expectations from Motorola’s ‘G5’ series but surprisingly Moto G5 Plus became the eye catching phone of MWC. It packs some pretty good specs like Snapdragon 625, metal body, compact size and especially the Camera. This Moto G5 Plus uses the same Camera sensor which last year flagship of Samsung, Galaxy S7 has. As Moto G5 Plus will be a midrange phone it will become a game changer in terms of Camera in midrange smartphones. For detailed coverage on Moto G5 and G5 Plus, click here.
4. Samsung Released The Teaser Of Galaxy S8 and S8+:
At the end of Galaxy Tab S3‘s launch, Samsung released a teaser video of there upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 and S8+. The trailer was also one of the highlight of the event as there are lots of expectations from Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be announced on 29th March and the teaser confirmed the near bezel less design of Galaxy S8 and S8+. I should say that many people are more excited for the teaser that the Tab S3 itself. For detailed coverage on Galaxy S8’s teaser, click here.
5. Google Assistant on other Android phones:
It’s the only most trending news that’s not related to MWC. Google Assistant came as a USP for the Pixel phones. Many tech savvy people sideloaded Google Assistant by tweaking with the phone’s software. But now there’s no need to do it in that way for Android 6.0 above users as Google has finally started rolling out the Google Assistant to other devices running Android marshmallow and above. This update will come with latest Google Play Services and Google app but based on regions. It will start from English (US) users and later followed by other regions & languages as well. So these are the top 5 trending news of this week.
