Apple fined millions in Brazil
Brazil’s Sao Paulo civil court fined Apple 100 million reais ($19 million) and ordered that new iPhones sold in the country must come with battery chargers. It is also said that Apple to provide chargers to all consumers in Brazil who purchased iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 devices in the past two years.
MediaTek Dimensity 1080 unveiled
It is the newly announced chipset for mid-range smartphones and the same is supporting LPDDR5 RAM along with UFS 3.1 storage. It is also capable to offer up to 200MP sensors with no shutter lag. Having said that, Realme seems to launch the first smartphone with the new chipset in the near future as the backbone of the company Madhav Sheth has teased a new smartphone with the power of the newly announced Dimensity 1080 mobile processor.
Samsung One UI 5.0 announced
Finally, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially announced its new custom skin dubbed Samsung One UI 5.0 which is based on Android 13 and the same will be available on its latest and greatest Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Netflix ad-supported plan announced
Netflix has introduced its new ad-supported plan in 12 selected countries including the United States. The new plan is dubbed ‘Basic with ads’ and the same will be priced at $6.99 per month in the US. In Canada, it is priced at CAD 5.99, and its priced at GBP 4.99 in the UK.
