The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo launches its devices in India on regular intervals, and now the company teases to launch a new Z series smartphone in the market of India. However, the company hasn’t revealed which device will be launched.
The company has shared different teasers with words “Horizon”, “ZigZag”, “Pizza Topping”, “Breeze”, and “Puzzle” but every word has the letter “Z” missing from it. Having said that, recently the company unveiled the Vivo Z5x, and we expect that it will be launched in the market of India.

Speaking about the smartphone, it features 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution along with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and as mentioned above, it has the punch-hole setup at the top left corner of the display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with 4/6/8GB of RAM and has Adreno 616 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone is offered in four variants — 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage, 6 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage, 6 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage, and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage. And if the storage is not enough for you then you can expand the storage via MicroSD card.
Moving to the camera department, the Vivo Z5x rocks triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of 16 MP primary sensor with f/1.78 aperture + 8 MP 120° wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture + 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, there’s a 16 MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture. The device also features a fingerprint scanner to give the additional layer of security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Micro USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It runs on Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9, and ships on a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
