As promised, the popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has officially introduced its second generation Vivo X Fold 2 folding smartphone in the market of China. The device is also the first ever folding smartphone with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. The device is coming with a big circular camera module on the back panel and it is having a 50 megapixel primary sensor as well. Vivo has packed the device with heavy specifications on the board. Everything about Vivo X Fold 2
The newly announced Vivo X Fold 2 features a horizontal folding mechanism and the device features a 6.56-inch external display along with 2,520 x 1,080 pixels resolution while the interior screen is 8.03 inches along with 2,160 x 1,916 pixels resolution. Both displays feature an AMOLED panel along with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also supporting HDR10+ along with up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. It is also coming with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen. The display is also integrated with 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.
The device is also coming with the brand’s self-developed FS54 aviation-grade material and the same makes the device ultra-durable and lightweight. It is also featuring a Flex Mode and the same with enables users pop the device up for hands-free calling, video playback, and photography.
Speaking about the camera department, the Vivo X Fold 2 is coming with a circular camera module on the back and that is in the combination of a 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide and a 12MP telephoto lens. Both displays of the device feature a 16MP selfie camera.

Regarding the pricing and availability, the pricing of the latest Vivo X Fold 2 starts at RMB 8,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. The device will be available in China from April 28.
