Back in March, the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo unveiled a smartphone called Vivo X21 UD. Well, the device is coming with the in-display fingerprint scanner, which means you can unlock the device with a touch on the display. And now today the company has launched the device for the global markets. So, if you are unaware about the device let’s have a look at the specification details of the device.
The Vivo X21 UD sports 6.28 inch FullScreen Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and has 2280 X 1080 pixels resolution. The device is coming with iPhone X like notch, and with the notch, the device looks similar to the iPhone X and it also has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.3%.
Coming to under the hoods, the device is powered by 2.2 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor and the device is played with 6 GB RAM along with Adreno 512 for the graphical task. In terms of storage options, the device has 128 GB of internal storage options, and the device also allows you to expand the storage upto 256 GB via microSD card.
Speaking about the photography, the device has dual camera setup at back with the combination of 12 megapixel (f/1.8 aperture) + 5 megapixel (f/2.4 aperture) with Portrait Mode, AI Beauty Mode and LED flash. The device also features 12 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI Beauty Mode. In terms of connectivity, the device will support of dual SIM with 4G connectivity, and it will also feature Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, micro USB, and GPS.
The device features In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, Face Recognition for the security of the users. The device runs on Android Oreo v8.1 which is based on Funtouch OS 4.0, and the whole device is backed on a 3,200 mAh battery. Speaking about the colour choices, the Vivo X21 UD will be available in Black and White colour. On the other hand, the Vivo X21 will be available in Red colour also.
Speaking about the pricing and availability details, it has the price tag of S$799 (approx. ₹39,930). The Vivo X21 UD will be available in Singapore from May 5 through M1, StarHub and other authorized retailers. The device should be launched in other countries soon.
