It was recently reported that the next generation Vivo flagship smartphone series dubbed the Vivo X500 series may include multiple models, such as the Vivo X500e, X500, X500 Pro (or Pro Mini), X500 Pro Max, and X500 Ultra. The company is expected to launch the smartphone series before the end of this year but the Vivo X500e and X500 Ultra are expected to launch in the first half of next year.
Now the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has reported the camera details of the vanilla variant of the smartphone series. The source says that the upcoming Vivo X500 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel Sony primary camera with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel Sony periscope telephoto camera with a 1/2-inch sensor and a 70mm equivalent focal length.
The source has also reported that telephoto macro support has not yet been confirmed, but the company is expected to include the same in the final version of the device.
Vivo is expected to launch the upcoming Vivo X500 smartphone with a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The device is expected to be powered by a Dimensity 9500-series chipset and it will be housing a massive 7,500mAh battery.
