Vivo X80, the flagship smartphone of the brand, has been unveiled in the market of China. Today the brand has launched two devices, the Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro. The vanilla X80 model supports the Sony sensor for its main camera and houses the impressive MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Specifications of the Vivo X80
The Vivo X80 sports a curved 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz E5 AMOLED display with 1500 nits of brightness and covers 100% of the P3 color gamut. The company offers a centred hole punch. The Vivo X80 packs a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a VC liquid cooling solution with a soaking plate covering an area of 4285mm².
Speaking about the camera department, the handset comes with a triple camera setup on the back. It supports the world’s first Sony IMX866 primary sensor. It packs a 50MP sensor and comes with an f/1.75 aperture. Moreover, the device supports a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP portrait sensor . There is a 32MP selfie snapper.
The device got power from a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The device needs only 11 minutes to charge 50%. The X80 Pro series comes with Android 12 OS-based OriginOS Ocean out of the box.

The Vivo X80 with 8GB + 128GB version costs 3699 Yuan ($564), while the 8GB + 256GB storage is priced at 3999 Yuan ($610). The device with the 12GB + 256GB storage model available at 4399 Yuan ($671). The 12GB + 512GB is priced at 4899 Yuan ($747). The smartphone is available in different colours. Vivo will begin the sale on April 29.
