WhatsApp has rolled out new Status feature is not a new thing now, and we all are using it and enjoying it. But still everyone missing the old text based status feature of WhatsApp, we have updated that the company is testing the old status feature with the new name called Tagline on the beta of IOS and Windows platforms. Android was ignored at that time, but now we got a report which says that WhatsApp beta for Android testing to bring back the old status option.
According to source, the old text based Status option is being tested on WhatsApp beta version 2.17.85 of Android, and can be changed under the My About Section. Moreover, the old Status to come with privacy setting similar to the all new Status. Just to remind the new Status feature have custom privacy setting, now you have three options in the privacy section ‘My contacts’, ‘My contacts except’ and ‘Only share with’.
Not only the old status but another new feature is to come on WhatsApp, in last month we updated that WhatsApp testing a new feature which will allow you to recall and edit messages at that time the company called it as as ‘Revoke’. However, now the company is testing the feature on the beta version and it is called as an ‘Unsend’. let’s hope that the company will bring back this feature also very soon.
