The company has introduced three smartphones named Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X, with flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. These are Xiaomi’s first smartphones coming with the powerful processor. The processor is a high-end SoC for smartphones that was introduced in late 2021. Moreover, it is the fastest CPU for Android based smartphones. Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro come with DisplayMate A+ OLED displays and powerful imaging capabilities. The latest Xiaomi 12 supports a 6.28-inch full-HD+ with AMOLED display, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1,100 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution is 1,080×2,400 pixels. The display has the support of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, as well as the aspect ratio is 20:9. The device features Dolby Vision, and the same is packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has the support of a 480Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The company has included a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) backplane technology. The Xiaomi 12X has the support of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It also houses up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone has up to 256GB of onboard storage.
Price And Availability
Xiaomi 12 costs CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 43,400) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The device with an 8GB + 256GB model is available at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 46,900). Moreover, the high-end 12GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 4,399 (roughly Rs. 51,600).
The starting price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 55,100) for the 8GB + 128GB model. The company also introduces the smartphone with the 8GB + 256GB model for CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 58,600). Besides, the 12GB + 256GB model cost CNY 5,399 (roughly Rs. 63,300).
The starting price of Xiaomi 12X is CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs. 37,500) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The handset has the 8GB + 256GB model at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 41,000). Moreover, the device with a 12GB + 256GB is available at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 44,500).
The company will start the sale of Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X in China from December 31. According to the report, pre-sales starts from Tuesday. The company has not revealed the launching of the latest smartphone in other parts of the world including in India
