Xiaomi 12 series was rumoured to be launched globally on March 15 and the information has been turned true, as the company today officially revealed the launching date of the devices and the same is coming on March 15. 

Xiaomi announced the smartphone series in the market of China last year and the same runs on Android 12 out of the box along with the heavy specifications on the board. Xiaomi 12 

The latest Xiaomi 12 supports a 6.28-inch full-HD+ with AMOLED display, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1,100 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution is 1,080×2,400 pixels. The display has the support of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, as well as the aspect ratio is 20:9. The device features Dolby Vision, and the same is packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. There is up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Xiaomi 12 runs on Android-based MIUI 13.

Regarding the camera department Xiaomi 12 houses a triple rear camera setup. It consists of a 50-megapixel primary lens with an f/1.88 lens and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 ultra-wide lens. The secondary camera supports a field of view of 123 degrees. There is a 5-megapixel macro shooter. It can capture small things like seeds and flowers. The mobile phone sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It features Stagger HDR and artificial intelligence (AI) based beautification features. The device packs up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

Speaking about connectivity, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. The company has included accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. Xiaomi smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device supports 10W reverse wireless charging.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 

Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a 6.73-inch WQHD+ E5 AMOLED display. The resolution is 1,440×3,200 pixels. It comes with 1,500 nits of peak brightness as well as a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It has the support of a 480Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The company has included a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) backplane technology. The device packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Xiaomi 12 Pro houses a triple rear camera setup. It packs a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an OIS-supported wide-angle f/1.9 lens. Moreover, the device has a 50-megapixel portrait sensor. It consists of a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The company has added a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

The latest smartphone packs up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Regarding the connectivity option, it features 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port.

The smartphone has a four-unit speaker system with a dedicated tweeter and the speaker system supports Harman Kardon tuning.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro houses a 4,600mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging. It features 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Xiaomi 12X 

Xiaomi 12X sports the same 6.28-inch display that is available on the regular Xiaomi 12. The device has an identical triple rear camera setup. It packs the same 4,500mAh battery.

The Xiaomi 12X has the support of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It also houses up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone has up to 256GB of onboard storage.
