According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi is working on two new mid-range phones and the devices are expected to launch in Q2 2026. The source did not mention the names but it is understood that he is pointing towards the upcoming Xiaomi 17T series.
The source says that the Xiaomi 17T could feature a 6.59-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution along with a large 7,000mAh and the device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor.
On the other hand, the Pro variant is expected to come with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 mobile processor. The device is also expected to feature a periscope telephoto lens.
It was previously reported that the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro devices will come with Leica-tuned cameras. The devices are also expected to come with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor.
