Xiaomi Launches Mi LED TV 4 With Frameless Display

Along with the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5 Pro, the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has launched the world’s thinnest LED TV in India and it is called as Mi LED TV 4. Well, the launch is not a surprising one as we already updated yesterday about the TV launch as the company teased the product and said to launch today i.e. 14.02.2018.

 

The television is 4.9 mm thin and it has 55-inch LED 4K HDR display, along with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. The display which is used in this TV is taken from Samsung and boasts a frameless design and because of this reason, the television looks like a bezel-less. It is powered by a 64-bit Amlogic quad-core processor and paired with 2 GB RAM, along with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. The TV has 8 GB of internal storage and also supports for the Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. The TV runs on PatchWall OS which has customized for the Indian market especially, to provide the contents from your Set Top Box TV. The Mi LED TV 4 also comes with an 11-button Bluetooth remote which not only works with the TV, but with the Set Top Box as well, and in this way, users can easily navigate. And to connect the TV and set-top box, Xiaomi has launched the Mi IR Cable, which is priced at ₹299.

Speaking about the connectivity, the all-new Mi LED TV 4 has multiple numbers of options, as it has 3 HMDI ports, 2 USB ports, one Ethernet port, and, it comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. Moreover, the company has joined its hand with various entertainment providers such as Hotstar, Zee, Voot, TVF, Sony LIV, Sun Nxt, Hungama, ALT Balaji, Viu, and, Flickstree, to offer 5,00,000 hours worth of content to the users, and 80% of which can be access for free of cost.

The company has also introduced Profiles on PatchWall, which will recommend content to family members according to their taste. However, the feature will be rolled out later this year. Also, speaking of content, the company is supporting 48 DTH/Cable providers on the Mi LED TV 4 from across the country.

Speaking about the pricing and availability of the new Mi LED TV 4, it is priced at ₹39,999 and it will be available through Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi home stores. The first flash sale of the TV is scheduled for February 22, and it will be available through offline stores later on.
