Xiaomi has launched its first laptop Mi Notebook Air last year, Adding to this, Xiaomi has now unveiled an upgraded version of the Mi Notebook Air with 13.3-inch screen with fingerprint sensor. Which is said to be the successor of the Mi Notebook Air 4G, launched in December.
The device comes with a 13.3-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display, and it is powered by the 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processor which is clocked at 3.5GHz, and Mi says that it will offer a 10 percent performance increase over its predecessor. Mi also offers another variant that is powered by the 7th-gen Intel Core i5 processor which is clocked at 3.1GHz.
The new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 includes a wide range of features, mainly the fingerprint sensor which is embedded on the upper right corner of the trackpad. Both of these variants receives 8GB of DDR4 RAM with two options of internal storage either 128GB or 256GB. you also get AKG’s custom speakers, which is already seen in Xiaomi’s notebooks. It has a Type-C USB port , along with an HDMI port. A new GPU is also included, NVIDIA’s GeForce MX150 with 2GB of GDDR5 memory, and it is considerably more powerful than the one Xiaomi used in its previous range.
The Intel Core i5 variant of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 will go on sale starting at 12PM on June 18, and registrations for the sale are already opened. The upgraded Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 comes only in silver color variant, and priced at CNY 4,999 (Rs 51,400) for the 7th-gen Intel Core i5, 128GB variant, and CNY 5,499 (Rs. 52,100) for 256GB variant. The price range for 7th -gen Intel Core i7 256GB variant has not revealed.
The Xiaomi Mi notebook Air packs with lots of features and best in class build. Its has noticeable performance upgrades which makes it a real and direct challenger for the Apple’s MacBook Air.
