Back in July Xiaomi launched their brand new Mi CC9 series which was focused for design & camera, but without neglecting overall performance. Mi CC9 and Mi CC9E are two smartphones in this series. And while the regular CC9 is a premium-midrange smartphone, the CC9E is budget oriented one. In fact the Android One Mi A3 is also the same smartphone as Mi CC9E, but with stock Android. Now will this series get a flagship level device? Well, we got the answer today and it’s a ‘Yes’ in the form of Mi CC9 Pro.
Xiaomi has teased the launch of Mi CC9 Pro smartphone on their Weibo handle. This device is going to launch in 5th November at 02:00 PM, along with new Xiaomi TV 5 and Xiaomi Smartwatch. Now even though there’s no mention about flagship processor like Snapdragon 855 or 855+ , but the fact that it will have the whopping 108MP Primary Camera sort of confirms that it will have the flagship processor. Because as of now there’s no mid-range processor which has the support for 108MP camera.
Speaking more about the camera, as you can see from the image below there will be total 5 cameras at the back of Mi CC9 Pro. And one amongst these is surely a Telephoto lens as it’s mentioned near the camera setup that there will be 5X zoom support. As of now we don’t know the functionalities of other three cameras, but most probably they will be wide angle lens, macro lens, and depth sensor. There are two dual LED flashlights near the cameras, theoretically four LED flashlights.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. As far as I expect this is going to be one of the best camera smartphone of Xiaomi, or maybe the best. Because hardware wise this is the best Xiaomi has ever offered. It would be good if this smartphone will launch in India at a competitive price, but chances are not so high.
